(Аmis, Kingsley) (1922-1995), английский писатель. Родился 16 апреля 1922 в Лондоне. Учился в Сити-оф-Лондон-скул и Сент-Джонз-колледже Оксфордского университета. Преподавал в университете Суонси (Южный Уэльс); после 1961 почти все время отдавал писательской деятельности.
